25 Temporary Full Time Landscape Worker Positions. W0rk site(s): Provided daily transport to & from worksite; begin in Garden City, Ada County, ID 83714 at $13.50 per hour. Continue into county(ies) of Ada, Boise, Canyon, Elmore, Gem, Boise City, ID MSA, SW Idaho non-metropolitan area. April 1, 2019-December 31, 2019. Possible duties: Prepare & install sod, trees & shrubs, install sprinklers, retaining walls, ponds, decks & drainage systems. Transport & spread bark & gravel. Regular maintenance including mowing, edging & trimming commercial & residential sites. Yard clean-ups including leaf blowing & other related Landscape Worker activities per SOC/OES 37-3011 (onetonline.org). Must be 18 due to state labor laws. Must show proof of legal authority to work in U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone.
Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 50 lbs. No minimum education requirement. On the job training. All applicants must be willing, qualified to perform work described & avail for entire period specified. Based on Employers discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/ refusal to abide equal dismissal. Possible background check post hire at employers expense. $13.50 per hour up to possible $17 per hour OT $20.25 per hour up to possible $25.50 per hour, Wage may vary. Depends on experience. Possible daily/weekly hours: 7 am-5 pm. 40 plus to include lunch break Monday-Friday. Possible weekend/holiday work. OT poss, not required/guaranteed. If OT is worked, wage paid at rate of time & a half per hour worked beyond 40 hours/week. Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physical strenuous labor for long hours, occasion in extreme heat or cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/-), poss downtime &/or OT. Employer will comply with all applicable federal, state & local laws pertaining to OT hours.
Transport: Will provide/pay cost of worker return transport, subsistence from worksite to place from which worker departed to work for employer if worker completes period of employment or dismissed from employment before end of work period above. Transport & subsistence will be reimbursed by check in 1st work week for cost from place from which worker has come to work for employer, whether in U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment.
